Masseria Rossella is an organic farm producing a tasty organic extra virgin olive oil, fruits, vegetables, legumes, herbs and flavours that are the base of its cuisine. The olive grove covers an area of 25 ha, where the typical local cultivars Cerasuola, Biancolilla and Nocellara del Belice are grown. The Masseria Rossella oil is pale yellow, with golden and green shades. The scent is herbaceous, intense and fragrant with olive and tomato hints. The taste is full, strong, fruity, spicy with a persistent aftertaste.
At Masseria preserves and jams are produced: apricots, mulberries, figs, plums. The fruit is harvested and the handmade jam is produced on the same day. Guests can find it at the table for breakfast, or buy it.
Other products are: in oil dried tomatoes (the “siccagno” tomato of Corleone) and eggplants, sauce and tomato paste, which is used by our chef.
